Guild Song Tempaus

Does your association not yet have an official song in Rasputin? Are you tired of singing the same old songs at sitsis? Don’t worry, we have a solution for you!

During the second period, Teekkari Section is organizing the Guild Song Tempaus, which aims to encourage all student associations to come up with and write lyrics for new songs of their own, or to put the finishing touches on songs they’ve already been working on. And what’s the cherry on top? The association that writes the best song lyrics will be rewarded with a free rental of Teekkarisauna!

You can sign up your association for the competition via THIS LINK.

You’ll have the whole month of November to write and compose your songs. The actual song showcase will then take place during the first week of December, with more details to follow a little later. You can either come and perform your song in person or submit a pre-recorded performance for evaluation. If getting started with songwriting feels daunting or your musical inspiration hasn’t quite kicked in yet, don’t worry! For those interested in the finer arts of songwriting and composing, we’ll be hosting a workshop during the third week of November. There, professionals in the field will help you get started with the creative process or put the final polish on songs that are already nearly finished. More information about the workshop will be coming later.
