Teekkari cap lowering 2025🌟

It's that time of the year again, to put the most important symbol of teekkarihood, the teekkari cap, to its well-deserved and peaceful winter rest. The traditional lowering of the cap takes place on the last day of the month, September 30th, including speeches and spectacular performances, this year in the spirit of the Anniversary of the Teekkari Union of Tampere! The evening culminates at midnight with the lowering of the cap, accompanied by the Teekkari Hymn. 🌌

Lowering of the cap will take place on the Hervanta campus in the yard between Main Building and Campus Arena. The program starts at 22:00.

In honor of Teekkari Cap Day, Teekkari Section organizes Teekkari Cap coffees, where coffee and fun teekkari cap -like activities are offered. ☕️ Also Teekkarimuseum is open for 13-15!

Fuksis can also get FUKSIPOINTS from preparing the evening, namely Tampereen Teekkarien nakki. Fuksipoints are available for those that has signed up for nakki beforehand! More information about the nakkis will be announced closer to the event ✍️
