Manse Pride <3 Students

This year, for the first time ever, the Tampere Tori Pride will be celebrated on the same day as Manse Pride!

Manse Pride's theme for 2025 is "One big family", as everyone is welcome to join the large and colourful community as themselves. Pride is not only a joyful celebration, but also a demonstration to highlight the problems and human rights violations that sexual and gender minorities still face in Finland today. The student community in Tampere is also large, diverse and colourful, and we warmly encourage Torisitsi participants to take part in the demonstration for human rights by joining the Manse Pride celebrations. Everyone who wants to express their support for rainbow rights is welcome to join the march, both those from the rainbow community and those who support them.

The Manse Pride 2025 week will take place from June 9th to June 15th 2025, with the main events of the week, the Pride march and park party, taking place on June 14th from 12.30pm. The procession will leave from Keskustori at 14:00 and arrive at 3:00 in Sorsapuisto, followed by the main event, where you can celebrate together and enjoy great performances. At 17:00, a thousand students from Tampere's higher education community will gather again in the central square to celebrate Tampere's first Tori Sitsis, an Academic Table Party, in a historic interdisciplinary event shared by all the university's campuses and the University of Applied Sciences.

Let's have a fun, colourful and warm-hearted celebration together on Saturday 14.6. Let's also make the day safe for everyone; we want everyone to commit to these safer space principles, so that we give everyone space to enjoy and celebrate as themselves. Let everyone be seen, heard and loved, and let the skit songs ring out!
